Bell's Hometown Pharmacy opened in December 2010 but the Bell family history in the City of Bay Minette began long ago. Michael's grandparents, E.P. and Olganella Bel moved to Bay Minette in 1946. The spent the next 40 years operating various businesses and promoting residential development in town. Michael and carla are continuing their tradition of serving their neightbors and promoting growth in the small Alabama town.
Michael Bell Pharm.D. - Pharmacist Michael was raised in Bay Minette, Alabama by his parents, Earl and Carolyn Bell and his sister Leanna (Mitchell). Michael gradurated from Samford University in 2001 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D). Michael has 20 years of experience in retail pharmacy starting with an after school job and Stacey's Pharmacy. he worked at the Bay Minette Winn Dixie for three years. Michael has also worked as a home infusion and compounding pharmacist. In 2010, he and his wife Carla opened Bell's Hometown Pharmacy. Michael enjoys the atmosphere of his small hometown where people feel like family. "We provide a high level of service that you can't find anywhere else." In Michael's time off he enjoys woodworking and hunting when he is not spending time with his wife and their two sons.
Carla Sue Bell - Business Consultant
Saraland, Alabama is Carla's Hometown. Carla (Butler) Bell graduated from Satsuma High School in 1996 then earned her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Mobile in 2002. After estabishing a successful career in executive management, most recently as CFO of Lindmark Outdoor Advertising, Carla started her own business, Catalyst Small Business Consulting Services, for the flexibility if offered her as a month.
